Parrot Family was established to create a platform where the community can come to learn more about taking care of their parrots.  The Mission of the Group is to create a support network where we all assist each other where needed by sharing parrot related help. Parrot Family is not funded by anyone but from time to time we will tackle small projects used to generate funds for the group. It is important that everyone who knows and sees what we do support those projects just to try to lighten the load a little bit. So many people these days have to say goodbye to their beloved feathered children for various reasons and you are welcome to contact us personally about it and we will try to assist if possible.

 

We do not buy or sell parrots under any circumstances. If we can help and know of a good home where your parrot will get the necessary love and attention he / she deserves, we will definitely start the process to assist you in this regard. We also have facilities on a smallholding in Benoni, Gauteng where we are able to temporarily take in any parrots that may need rehabilitation before we find them a suitable home. Members interested in adoption can contact us and fill out our adoption application form.
